AllChinaBuy QC Photo Checklist: What Pictures Can Tell You

A practical method for comparing seller images, inspection photos, measurements and visible condition without treating photographs as guarantees.

Begin with the decision you need to make

A useful AllChinaBuy QC photo review starts with a question: what must be known before this particular item can move forward? For one purchase, the deciding issue might be a readable size label. For another, it might be whether a fastening is intact or a garment matches a recorded measurement. Looking closely at every pixel does not help if the evidence never answers that question. Write down the two or three details that could change your decision before opening the gallery.

This guide provides a visual inspection method, not a certification service. It does not inspect your order, authenticate a product or establish a seller's reliability. The examples describe possible situations rather than purchases tested by our team. A clear, repeatable process is more useful than an unsupported verdict such as “perfect quality.”

Keep three kinds of photographs separate

Seller images describe what a listing is offering. Historical inspection images, when their source is known, may show something received for an earlier order. Photos linked to your own order may show your particular item. Those are different forms of evidence. A gallery with attractive pictures is not automatically an inspection record, and an old inspection set does not prove that a current listing or selected option will be identical.

This site's current product galleries contain source listing images. An independent QC photo feed has not been verified or connected. Use those galleries for comparison and discovery, not as proof that an item has been inspected. If you have order photographs elsewhere, preserve their association with the order, item, variant and date instead of mixing them into an unlabeled collection.

Save the reference before comparing details

Keep a small comparison record: original marketplace link, product identifier, chosen option, size, colour and the listing image relevant to that option. A listing may contain photographs of several variants. Comparing a black item against an image of the blue option can create a false mismatch, while comparing against the generic cover image can hide a genuine difference. The useful reference is the one attached to the actual choice.

Also note what remains unknown. If the listing gives no material composition, a picture cannot fill that gap. If the description does not specify included accessories, an attractive lifestyle photograph is not enough to establish what should be in the package. Keep stated information separate from your expectations so a later question can identify the exact uncertainty.

Check identity and quantity before appearance

Start with the whole item. Does the photographed product type match the saved link? Is the selected colour or pattern visible? Are the size label and any identifying details readable? If the order is a pair or a set, count the pieces that can actually be seen. One photograph of a shoe does not establish the condition or size of the other shoe. An image of a closed box says little about its contents.

When something seems wrong, describe the mismatch directly: the saved option says one size but the visible label shows another, or a set appears to show fewer pieces than expected. Do not guess that an unseen part is missing; mark it as unconfirmed. Identity questions should be resolved before spending time judging minor finishing details.

Read the camera angle as part of the evidence

Perspective can change how a product appears. A garment photographed diagonally may seem uneven; a shoe nearer the camera may look larger than its partner. Folds, tension and shadows can also affect visible shape. Before calling something asymmetric, check whether the item lies naturally, whether both sides are equally visible and whether another angle supports the same observation. A second clear view can be more informative than a heavily enlarged crop.

Colour deserves similar caution. Lighting, white balance, screen settings and image compression can change appearance. Compare visible labels and the selected option alongside the photograph. If an exact shade matters to your purchase, identify that uncertainty explicitly; do not convert a screen impression into a precise colour claim that the evidence cannot support.

Inspect clothing where the details matter

For clothing, work from the overall shape toward the areas most relevant to use. Look at the neckline, cuffs, hems, pocket openings and visible seam joins. Check whether closures, buttons or drawcords that are actually specified appear present. A close view can help distinguish a loose thread from an opening in a seam, but a distant picture may not support either conclusion. Keep the observation modest when the resolution is limited.

Treat fit as a separate check. A garment can look neatly made and still have unsuitable dimensions. If a measurement decides whether it is usable, compare that dimension using the same method as a garment you know. A size label, fabric photograph or model image cannot replace a measurement of the relevant area.

Compare footwear as a pair

For footwear, review both shoes together before considering small details. Check that the visible sizes agree, that the pair appears to be the selected option and that the overall shape can be compared from similar angles. Then examine visible joins, closures, eyelets and areas where damage might affect use. A dark patch near a sole could be shadow, surface residue or something else; request a clearer view before deciding what it means.

An exterior photograph cannot tell you how the shoe will feel on your foot. Insole measurements may be useful when the measurement method is clear, but they are not a universal fit guarantee. Neither outsole length nor a familiar size number should be silently treated as usable internal length. Keep sizing and visible condition as separate decisions.

Ask different questions for bags and accessories

A bag review should reflect how you intend to carry it. Look for visible strap attachments, handle joins, closures and the shape of the base. If access to an internal compartment matters, an exterior photo cannot answer the question. Ask for the relevant interior view rather than assuming the layout from a similar product. For adjustable straps, the usable range may matter more than the longest dimension shown in a listing.

For other accessories, identify the fastening or connection that matters to your use. A photograph may show an obvious missing component or damaged surface; it cannot establish strength, material purity, electrical safety or long-term performance. If a requirement depends on testing or provenance, acknowledge that photographs are an insufficient method and seek appropriate evidence before proceeding.

Make a photo request answer one question

A useful request names the item, the part to show and the uncertainty to resolve. For example: “Please show the full zipper with the closure visible” is clearer than “Please check quality.” For a measurement, name the two endpoints, the unit and the way the item should be positioned. Ask for a view that shows the start and end of the scale; a number reported without its method is harder to compare.

These are examples of request wording, not promises that a particular service is available. Confirm current options, prices and timing with the official service before submitting a request. Prioritise information that changes your decision. Several nearly identical overview images will not answer a question about a hidden pocket, an unreadable label or a missing measurement.

Separate observations from conclusions

Record what you can see in plain language. “The seam looks open beside the pocket in photo three” is an observation. “This will fall apart” is a prediction that the picture may not justify. “The colour appears darker than the saved reference” describes a comparison; it does not prove the wrong option was sent. Keeping these distinctions clear makes a follow-up question easier to answer and reduces unnecessary disagreement.

Classify each concern as confirmed, uncertain or not assessable from photos. Confirmed identity mismatches need a different response from uncertain lighting effects. Not-assessable concerns should not disappear simply because the gallery looks good. A photo set cannot supply product provenance, laboratory results or a durability test by implication. Avoid treating an absence of visible problems as a comprehensive approval.

Record the next action and its evidence

After reviewing the pictures, choose a specific next step: the available evidence is sufficient for your stated criteria, clarification is needed, or you need to ask about the official options for a mismatch. Save the original images, the wording of any request and the reply. Keeping a short record makes it easier to explain the issue without repeatedly reconstructing the whole purchase from memory.

Do not assume a return, exchange, refund or additional photograph is automatic. The options depend on current service availability, the item and applicable terms. Use the actual account or support response to verify the relevant process and deadline. The checklist helps organise evidence; it cannot create a remedy, extend a deadline or make a decision on your behalf.

Use the checklist within the current service limits

The AllChinaBuy official homepage displayed a maintenance notice when checked on 24 October 2026. We have not verified a restoration date or current photo-service availability. An informational guide remaining accessible does not mean registration, orders or inspection services are operating. Confirm those functions through official channels before relying on an older tutorial or an unchanged button on another website.

For this independent spreadsheet, keep the practical sequence simple: identify the source and option, understand the kind of images available, inspect the details that affect your decision, ask a precise question where necessary and retain the result. Continue to distinguish ordinary listing photographs from verified order evidence. That discipline remains useful regardless of how many pictures a listing happens to contain.
